Waubonsee Community College

Skyway Juried Art Competition submission deadline

WHAT IS SKYWAY?
Skyway: a blind-juried art competition that Waubonsee participates in with seven other regional community colleges. The purpose of the Skyway Juried Art Competition and Exhibition is to provide an opportunity for emerging student artists to display their work. All selected artworks* will be exhibited in April 2020.

The Waubonsee Juror will select 25 artworks to represent Waubonsee in the Skyway Juried Art Competition, he/she will also select 10 runner-up artworks.

The two Skyway Jurors will review artwork submitted to the Skyway Juried Art Competition. They will select artworks from all eight colleges to be included in the Skyway 2020 exhibition.

This year Waubonsee is hosting the Skyway 2020 exhibition in the Arrowhead Room. Artworks selected for the Skyway 2020 exhibition will be announced March 17. The remaining artworks selected by the Waubonsee Juror will be exhibited in the Todd Library.
