Join us for this One Book, One College event presented by the students of IDS 220: Human Rights and Social Justice. The student presenters will explore topics like the 1969 Occupation of Alcatraz and larger American Indian Movement. Also featured: an engaging discussion on how the Occupation of Alcatraz is represented through the characters of our OBOC launch title: There There by Tommy Orange. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.
