Participants learn strategies for supporting the success of all students, including those who may seem underprepared for their particular course or for college-level work in general. This Seminar focuses particularly on how faculty members can help students become more self-directed in their learning through clear expectations, guided learning, reflection opportunities, exemplars, and academic support resources. Upon satisfactory completion of the Seminar requirements, participants earn digital badges for the ACUE modules "Engaging Underprepared Students" and "Developing Self-Directed Learners."
