Neurodiversity, the understanding that many people think, process sensory information, and behave differently due to brain differences, is an emerging way of viewing conditions like ADHD and the autism spectrum, traditionally understood as disability. In celebration of National Disability Awareness Month, please join neurodiverse professional counseling faculty Sara Levi (Waubonsee Community College) and teaching faculty Jason King (Moraine Valley Community College) for this joint presentation and discussion exploring a broader context for understanding and celebrating some of the challenges and strengths embedded in neurodivergence.
