The NASAD 2021 Exhibition showcases student artwork created during the last 3 years in photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and painting. These artworks were executed by students of various skill levels and experience.
The National Association of Schools of Art and Design, or NASAD, was established in 1944 to improve educational practices and maintain high professional standards in art and design education. Waubonsee Community College is one of only 2 community colleges in the state of Illinois to be NASAD accredited. In October, two NASAD visiting evaluators will review student works, along with countless other criteria, to determine if our accreditation will be renewed.
The art department is thankful for our students who have gone above and beyond to lend us their work for this exhibit.
