Keeping Your Brain Healthy - The Living Gems - Cheryl Ghasson

Join this interactive program that shares information on how to keep your brain healthy with activities, food, and changing everyday habits. Examples of games, web sites and daily routine changes will be shared. Insight on the Living Gems, the techniques, strategies, and overall approach to care created and developed by Teepa Snow, Positive Approach.  This Brain Change model recognizes the dynamic nature of the human brain and its abilities and that anyone’s abilities can change in a moment. Participants leave learning at least one new routine and takes home a small gift.  Light sweets/simple snacks will be served.

Cheryl Ghassan is a Senior Living Professional with 24+ years of experience in roles ranging from Resident counselor, Marketing Consultant for Independent and Continued Care Communities, Executive Director for Assisted Living, Marketing and Sales Director of Memory Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living. She is certified in Dementia and has a Gerontology and Business Administration Degree.  Cheryl is a board of Director for Area Agency on Aging for Northeastern Illinois and is active in industry organizations and community outreach activities that assist seniors and improve their quality of living and care.
