2020 Science of Learning Excellence Series

Title: COVID-19 and Public Health: A Panel of Faculty Experts

Description: Join us for an enlightening panel discussion on health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.  You will hear from colleagues who are experts in the fields of infectious disease and public health.  They will share what they know about viruses such as COVID-19, how they are transmitted, how they infect the body, and how our immune system responds. You will also learn how to take measures to protect yourself and others, including proper handwashing and the proper wearing of face masks.  Please feel free to ask questions of our panel.  We are lucky to work such knowledgeable colleagues who are willing to share a piece of their afternoon with us!

Facilitators:
Tracey Dosch, Professor of Biology
Justin Hoshaw, Associate Professor of Biology
Tracy Limbrunner, Associate Professor of Nursing
